What to expect

own your strong on course

We created Mudderella as an opportunity for women to experience new challenges alongside other women – whether these women are our friends, family, or someone else running next to us on event day. We design our courses to not only challenge you, but to bring you closer together. Learn more about what to expect below.

Course Info:

The courses are 5+ miles and include 12–15 obstacles. It’s a true athletic event that allows you to own your strong.

It helps to be a good runner, but you don’t have to be a trained marathon runner in order to be a Mudderella. You can go through the course at your own speed, and there are opportunities to take breaks from running at each obstacle. Remember, you’re stronger than you think you are.

NOTE: If you’re not comfortable with an obstacle, you may skip it, and – most importantly – do NOT try a water obstacle if you can’t swim.

Check out the obstacles.

Photo Ops:

There are plenty of photo opportunities at Mudderella – on course, at obstacles, and in the village.

Photos will be available to you for free from Gameface Media the week after the event. Stay tuned to the Mudderella Facebook Page the week following the event for an announcement about photos.

Check out our event photo gallery.

and lastly, you’ll

rinse + revive

Rinse yourself clean in our on-site rinsing stations.
When your hands and body are clean grab your bag from Bag Check (see below for more info) and head to the revival/party area.

Revive, Mudderella is all about owning your strong and living life to the fullest. Hang out, enjoy the music, food, beauty, and your fellow Mudderellas. You’ve worked hard, you’ve earned it, now bask in it!

because teams do it better

It isn’t required that you join a team, but we highly recommend it. First of all, you’ll get to share the Mudderella experience with a group of your best friends. Second, you’ll get to choose an awesome team name. And finally, you’ll have an excuse to wear matching outfits. Would you really pass up an opportunity for color coordination?

Also, can you say “team discounts”?

grab your friends

All team captains must be women, so nominate one of your girlfriends to head-up your team, or better yet, start a team yourself!

even if they’re guys

Guys are welcome to join in on the fun, but only if a female team member has invited them to join their team. Seriously, though – We’ll be checking.

don’t forget your adoring fans

Invite your friends and family to support your strong by attending for as little as $10!
Learn more about how they can spectate or volunteer.

Corporate Teams:

Ready for a team building experience like nothing you’ve ever done before? Bond with your coworkers as you take on 5-7 miles of obstacles and muddy terrain. Then relax post-event in the VIP area while reflecting on your incredible achievement.

What to Pack:

On-course outfit

Wear whatever you will be most comfortable running in. We recommend wearing lightweight clothing that dries quickly and a pair of running shoes (no cleats). We are happy to donate your running shoes to charity if you don’t want to take them home with you after the course. There will be a designated shoe donation area in the village.

Post-race change of clothes + shoes

Bring an extra pair of clothes and shoes to change into once you cross the finish line.

in your bag

We will have a bag check (fee varies), so feel free to bring a bag and check it in while you run
